Full-time, permanent
Salary grade E: £22,369-£24,496

37 hours per week split shift (Monday to Friday, 7am start 6pm finish)
with some flexibility during school holiday periods. The post comes with onsite accommodation. The successful applicant will be expected to live onsite. A percentage
of wages is deducted at source for accommodation.

We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated person. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and securing our extensive grounds. Responsible for the day-to-day operation, safety and general maintenance and upkeep of the whole school to help enhance the environment for both children and staff.  Maintenance duties may include: basic plumbing and carpentry, general DIY work, gardening, painting tasks. We are looking for someone who is able to juggle priorities, be flexible and have the ability to work within a team. You will be physically fit and able to work under your own initiative.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Keen to keep the school and grounds clean, safe, secure and well maintained. 
  • Willing to learn new skills and undergo training.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Have experience in managing compliance and health and safety.
  • Play a pivotal role in the new school build.
  • Willing to commit to a tenancy agreement and live on site
  • Have a good base knowledge of maths, English and computer skills an advantage.
